Titanium hull yachts

Just came across a factory overseas, who'd looking to get into yacht building using titanium hulls. What do you guys think about titanium as a material for yachtbuilding and what are your thoughts on pros and cons of having a Ti hull.
I know one thing is that in theory it would save hull maintenance cost, since it doesnt require painting, etc. Plus it's pretty rigid material.

Remember, the only saving involved is in weight!

Best is to build in titanium for the frames and stringers and then use magnesium alloy for the skin plating.
Surface is better treated with electrolytic coating and other secrets...

In short, if you are not using military budgets, you better forget about it..

Only place I've actually seen it used is on Wallys 70, 90, 118 for things such as hand rails.
