New FIREFOX Update!

F Y I . . . . . . . for all Firefox users!
Mozilla just released an update to it's Firefox Web Browser.
This is Firefox v. 1.5.0.2, which includes fixes for several security flaws and, as expected, adds support for Macs with Intel processors.
This is the link for Mozilla's Firefox update page:

Wink Mozilla Firefox

Thanks to the members I have installed Firefox and really enjoy it. I have added two great extensions which are great and you may want to try.

1. Image Zoom. To enlarge images and see things that you may miss.
2. Siteadvisor, tells me which sites to avoid.

Hi, Allan.
Firefox allows many of us to surf the web with lesser problems than IE.
Any megayachts currently docked in Vancouver?

Allan,

I've merged your Firefox thread with an existing thread on the same subject in the Tech Forum. It helps improve search results for other members.

Thanks!

Carl

Hi Deep Blue,

Yes, Firefox is a good browser, but are we making this exclamation in order to put our business name in front of YF's readers???

Agree with the posts about Firefox. Yachtforums converted me a fair few months back, much more stable platform on which to browse, IE still has as a couple of advantages for certain applications though.

IE tab

I have Firefox a while now and really like it. But some sites work better with Internet Explorer; so I downloaded the extension of IE tab. Works very effective.

Well THAT was... weird. On the subject of Firefox...

One of the best promotions I've ever seen (and a brilliant marketing angle) was the link you supplied a few months ago for the new Internet Explorer 7.

I think it was... www.IE7.com

Simply brilliant!

For those using Firefox check out this extension; Cooliris. It gives the ability to check out links and pages without leaving the original site. It works extemely well. http://www.cooliris.com
