    In the past I have successfully painted incandescent bulbs with red paint. Is it possible to do this with LEDs? I can not find the fixture that I desire with red LEDs. Thanks.

    What about just replacing the leds?

    I was having a similar issue and used regular fixtures (halogen G4) but with Imtra white/red LEDs inside. They fit right in the place of th halogens

    Turn them on, they are red, flip off and back on within 4 secs and they go white
