Eskimo Icemaker evaporator noise

    Decided to clean icemaker today so put icemaker cleaner through the Eskimo and the evaporator shell ice scraper began making a loud noise like it was scraping metal instead of ice. Also noticed a small amount of water dripping out of top of the evaporator shell. Any ideas.

    Okay called Dometic today and they explained what had happened that caused this noise. Everything working okay now.

    They told me to check the clearance in the scrapper which was fine. Also told me to be sure and flush the icemaker cleaner out of the scrapper real good. Once totally flushed it was fine.
