Raw water exhaust

    All,
    From time to time I spend some time geeking around the engine room and I noticed on our boat (CAT C15s) that the raw water exhausts are hooked up to both the exhaust outputs AND side through hulls (that also have raw water coming out) when the engines are running. Whats the concept on this? Our last boat had all the raw water going out the exhausts only from what I remember.
