Maybe stated somewhat differently...... If you have the
Wedge type rudders, the
inside surfaces should be parallel, that is... the same distance (dimension) between the inside surfaces as measured near the forward edge, at the rudder post, and near the aft edge.
If you have the
Plate type rudders, the
inside surfaces measured near the aft edge should be 2 1/2 inches more than the distance of the inside surfaces at the
rudder post (note: not the forward edge).
