    I used the search engine and didn't find any post on this, I hope I am not duplicateing anything. I received an email from a friend with information regarding a bioengineered worm used to eat plastic trash in the ocean. Unfortunately they also eat fiberglass.     There was an April Fool's story on NPR regarding Maple trees that were exploding and killing people because they were not being relieved of their syrup content. It was done very seriously, with eyewitness accounts and emergency personal commenting, tree experts and forestry officials describing how to be on lookout for impending tree explosions....
    People began calling for tree removal, or began to erect protective surroundings around their trees, tree houses were removed, etc, etc. ...it was really well done without a hint of it being April Fools joke.
