3208dita Problems?

RER Registered User Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Newport Beach CA Posts: 53	3208dita Problems? I hear good things about Caterpillar 3208DITA. I'm looking at a 1999 40' Tiara that is very well kept. 500 engine hours. I'm not crazy about V-drives but I can get over that. Is there anything not so good about this engine? Thanks.

Capt J Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Fort Lauderdale Posts: 957	I have never heard of 3208 dita's. But I know 3208's are pretty good motors and you can get them remanufactured from cat with a warranty pretty reasonably.
