The new D3 delivery has been delayed until early 2010
Some info on this engine:
The commonality with current generation D3 is in the name and the five-cylinder configuration only. The result of the development work is a World Class Performing marine engine with very low emissions.
The base for the New D3 is a newly developed engine fulfilling the Euro V on-road legislation. For Marine use, the engine is prepared to meet the 2012 US EPA Tier 3 emission requirement.
The range will be extended compared to the existing D3-range:
Ø The D3-220 @ 4000 rpm will extend the D3 range and gives an outstanding performance and hp/weight ratio. The engine will, for most applications, be able to replace the D4-225 engine with a significant weight saving as result.
Ø The D3-110 and the new D3-150 @ 3000 rpm will be the most modern and comfortable engine alternative in the market for displacement boats and Sailing Yachts.
Available HP and gears for inboard
110hp @ 3000 rpm with HS25 and HS63IV
150hp @ 3000 rpm with HS45 and HS63IV
170, 200, 220hp @ 4000 rpm with HS45 and HS63IV
Note: EVC Low speed is available as an option for HS25, HS45 & HS63IV. Reduces outgoing rpm up to 90%.

140, 170, 200, 220 @ 4000 rpm with SX and DP drives
