If you are changing out a ram on a Quantum zero speed stabilizer fin assembly,,,,
Do you think the ram would need to be bleed after installation? If so,, how would you bleed the stabilizers when it is under 2500- 3000psi?
The manuals do not seem to mention the proceedures...

Hi,

You should be able to cycle the fins a few times and get all the air out.

I would advise against playing with the threaded connections whilst they are under working pressure- This is the time they are most liable to fail and wrenching about with them under pressure might encourage a weak or damaged one to let go. ( Murphy's Law)

x2. The actuators bleed out naturally when you cycle them through their stroke range. The only time this is not the case is for the few stabilizer systems out there that are closed-circuit; the Quantum system is not one of those.
