Symbol Yachts is proud to present the virtual renderings of their all new 75 motoryacht; a yacht that is fully expandable to 79 feet. The Symbol 75-79’ is yet another example of Symbol’s experience and the expertise Jack W. Sarin, who’s unparalled artistry has made him one of the world’s most recognized naval architects. Utilizing the latest materials and techniques, along with a precisely engineered lamination schedule including vacuum bagging, Symbol's hand-laid fiberglass hulls are resulting in some of the most solid yachts available.

Founded in 1982 by CEO Jimmy Cheng, Symbol Yachts believes that the success of any business lies on the foundation of good people. Recognizing the importance of the artistry, skill, and craftsmanship of a mature work force, Symbol is one of a small number of Taiwanese yacht builders that have remained loyal to their roots and workers. With over 20 years of experience with various Taiwanese shipbuilders, Jimmy Cheng founded Symbol as the first production boat builder of planning hulls in Taiwan. 23 years later, Symbol has grown to become a successful exporter and builder of semi-custom motor yachts, trawlers, and pilothouse yachts.

In 1998, the world-renowned naval architect Jack Sarin signed on to become Symbol’s exclusive designer. The flowing contours of Sarin’s style are immediately evident on the 75; with signature designs such as large windows, soft curves and smooth transitions. A result of years of experience in designing yachts for many of the world’s leading builders, Sarin’s signature has become a staple of Symbol’s line today with yachts ranging from 42’ to 90’ in length.

For Symbol, beauty is not just skin deep. They have found their customers are not just looking for an inexpensive Sarin look-a-like; they expect a beautiful boat with superb engineering. Above all, because some of the finer details, such as the true artistry behind Sarin’s lines and the contour of his hulls are most apparent in physical experience, Symbol encourages sea-trials so customers can learn for themselves the difference between true value and a good bargain.

Meeting ISO 9001 and ABS requirements, Symbols facilities are situated a short distance from Kaohsiung International Airport and now covers over 110,500 square feet with more than 60% under shed. Symbol employs 150+ skilled workers, carpenters, electricians, mechanics, designers, naval architects, and engineers, most with 20+ years of experience.

The new Symbol 75’ will feature a completely open floor plan. The salon, the galley and the pilothouse will take full advantage of the large windows that abound with unobstructed views throughout. Designed as a true live-aboard, there are minimal variations in the floor’s elevation, with only a minor step up to the galley and pilothouse. This open plan allows un-encumbered socializing and freedom to move about.
| |
Because the 75’ has an expansive flybridge helm, the wheelhouse is kept minimal in size to allow increased dining and galley accommodations. With so much of today’s integrated electronics going digital, vast instrument panel space is not really a necessity.
| |
The Symbol 75' will be available in a five stateroom lay-out. A full beam master will be located midship with it's own private access to the salon. The Symbol 75’s engine room is located just aft and may feature a lazarette entrance just off the swim platform, a feature usually found on much larger yachts.
