Thinking of buying a 1986 44' Symbol motoryacht with cockpit. Can not find any comps. Is this design that unusual???

Lee - I suppose by now you have either purchased the boat or moved on.
We own a 1985 44' Symbol CPMY with dual Volvo-Penta TAMD60 engines. The model name is: Symbol 41. We also have had no luck finding any information about how many of these were built, tankage, original prop pitch and diameter, etc.
Nevertheless, we enjoy our boat and its seemingly unique configuration.
I would certainly like to know more about the early Symbol productions and where our boat fits into that history.
