Sunseeker 82'

Here are a few pictures of an 82' Sunseeker that pulled in the other day. Seemed to have a very high forward freeboard.

Breakin' in that new camera, heh!

Double check the settings in your menu. I've taken pics with that camera just after sunrise, on an overcast day... and they came out fairly well. The images you're getting look pretty dark in comparison.

I ran a 61 Sunseeker Predator last season and that also had a lot of freeboard. It's part of the style. Here are some pics. Oops, the pics are too big. I'll have to resize and then post.

I've reduced the image above Tom. I know you were trying to get a handle on it, so I'm not giving you hard time. FYI... our max image size is 640 pixels in width. The image you posted was over 1200.

Oops, sorry. I did post several other pics, and think I got it right with the pics on the stern anchor thread. I'll check the photos in the future to make sure I don't exceed the limit (sticky note now on the side of my monitor as reminder).

Where's that at, Brandon? Doesn't look too familiar to me. Think he's a permanent neighbor? If so we may have to race for bay rights, 'cause this town ain't big enough for the two of us (sarcasm, of course).

It's over at the St. Pete Yacht Club. I was taking a cruise along the bay and looked over there and I saw this great looking arch so I took a ride in there and saw that there is a new sunseeker in town! I really want to see that race. I think I know who I am going to bet on

Bill, You have big MAN's in your yacht? The 61 has 1050-hp V-10 that pushed her over 31 kts. But at that speed you could also see the fuel gauge move, towards empty.

No sir, we have Cat 3412's. Love 'em though, they've been great engines. We top out at about 28 kts on a good day, and they definitely suck the fuel.

Primarily, yes.

You missed out though (although you weren't invited

) when I had to do some trials working out that cooling issue. Had to do quite a bit of running at speed. Always good times. Had a little Donzi go crazy on my wake too - must of gotten 5 feet clear out of the water (that's big for Tampa Bay, ya'll).

Can't say I have ever seen a boat jump ours but I see jet skis do it all the time. They come clearly out of the water. We both stir up the bay pretty good

Ah Cats, great engines. Took a couple of maintenance courses with them when I was running a vessel with 3208's. Tough to beat as long as you do the maintenance.
The one problem I had on the 61 Predator was the engine room had no room, very tight to get around due to the garage and aft staterooms. And the MAN's filled up every inch.
