This is SHIVER, the meanest looking Predator they've ever made! Capable of well over 40knots.

Here she is at full throttle, with her triple arson surface drives, giving out 6000hp

It also has a small 'splash' pool, up front.

I went on one of these at last years Ft Lauderdale boat show, and was very surprised at how nice it was. Gorgeous in fact. Engine room is seriously tight but who cares........ except the engineer???

Yer I was suprised, when the guy for sunseeker showed me the engine room was down a hatch! No door! Compared to the 105' engine room, which is huge you could have a party in their!

The crews quaters wasn't too bad, it sleeps 4, but one of the bunk you had to slide in through a tiny hole!

    Yes true

and how many buyers of these boats really care about the crew quarters and the size of the engine room?
The owner of my yacht actually cares about the crew quarters but not sure he knows what an engine room is?

I loved seeing the 108 at Southampton. Couldn't get on her for love nor money, well, maybe money.... anyway... i really love the detail of the windows and the fins that gradually widen towards the aft.

The silver paintwork requires respraying every year or two. Perhaps this is why they chose not to have Shiver completley silver like the 105 "Smooth Operator" which gets resprayed annually!

Note also the dark sunpads on Shiver. They look awesome, but you'll need to put a towl under you so you don't roast yourself!

Hi. I have noticed that 'Shiver' runs an Australian flag. Does anyone know who the owner is of this magnificent yacht?

Hi, and welcome to YachtForums. I am sure there are people who can tell you who the owner is, but we donĀ“t like to reveal owners in public on this forum.

Some owners are very well known and connected with their yachts, both in other media and here, but in general we prefer to discuss yachts and not owners.

These days it is not only about privacy, but also security.

Shiver is actually listed on yachtworld for sale, however her top speed is stated as 28 knots and not 40 due to small(ish) engines, 2 x Cat 32 @1650bhp each.

I hope it's Shiver in the new Bond film, rather than the white 108. but anyway! On the movie theme, the Wally 118 is in The Island film, if anyone didn't already know. 50 Cents "just a little bit" video has an Azimut 55 Fly in. It's nice to see them in action! Can anyone else name any movies with Superyachts or good yachts in? Sorry I'm straying off the original toipc maybe this should have its own thread?

Is there a reason why they would have the smaller engines in it? Not into speed?

I find it quite strange myself that the top-of-the-range has so small (for her size) engines, and such a slow cruising/top speed. Cost shouldn't be a factor..

    Shiver

    Hiya Folks

Myself and my Team at Sunseeker were all really pround of what we deem to be the Best Sunseeker to be built to date. Make sure you all watch Casino Royalle as it is a bit of an advert for Sunseeker. It has a fair number of Sunseekers in it but the star of the show has to be M3 (the 1st 108P we built) We are currently building another one with more on order.

Shiver has an Aussie flag as her owner is Austrailian, he is a lovely down to earth man whom totally specd the entire boat, he even had the paint job done by his team from aus.
Shiver is now back in the n=med after going to aus for the season.
The skipper is also a top man.

    Best Regards
    Darren

It's no secret who the owner of Shiver is. Back home in Australia he's clearly quoted in the daily newspapers as the owner. The yacht was down under after the season in the med, trying to sell over there, the fact that didn't happen. So she's back in the med for sale, again (she was for sale already in the Monaco yacht show 2005). What's so great about it? Well, finish is good, but it was payed on top of the yacht's price, i guess, so the asking price of a used boat is extremely high due to all the extra work. On the other hand she is a rather slow sunseeker, and...she is just a sunseeker.
