1984 Huckins 74' YachtFish

Gorgeous classic Fibreglass sportfish, built in 1974 running Detroits.

Hull #428

A family friendly yacht that fishes with the best pure sport fish, but one that is also a head-turner in any port, with a fresh Alwgrip hull in Herreshoff cream, and three beautiful staterooms. (+ 1 crew)

The famous Huckins Quadraconic hull is both sea-kindly without the "pounding", and offers excellent yet fuel efficient speed and long range cruising.

Asking US$975,000

Builder: Huckins Yacht Corp.
Year: 1984
Hull: Fibreglass Deep V
Length: 74 ft / 22.6 m
Staterooms: 3
Engines: 2 X Detroit Diesels

Chris,
This boat is my all-time favorite; I think Huckins lost the plot with the Kirk-designed SF's. I saw her at the Huckins yard about a year and a half ago and it looks like you have done a super job on the refit.
Good luck,
lminford

I wish

I wish I could take credit for the refit, but I joined as the refit came to an end, so really all I'm doing are the cosmetic finishing touches. The owner took her through the refit (the 29th refit he has done).
I agree she is my favourite of the larger Huckins and having taken her to sea a few times now I really feel confident with her. She is so together, no rattles, smooth, a great all around boat. We have someone coming to take a look at her this week, I'll be sad to see her sell. We crew refer to her as the cottage, as she is the comfy, warm and welcoming boat.

Gentlemen,

The classifieds are for listings only. You are welcome to open a discussion about the boat, or use the PM system, but out of respect for owners we are no longer allowing follow up comments in the classifieds. Please refer to the sticky at the top of each listing category...
