Directions for Creating New Listings

Use the Yacht Forums Classified section to post pictures, specifications and prices of boats & yachts for sale. Select the category that best describes the item for sale and enter that forum. If you have questions regarding use of the software or picture uploading procedures, refer to directions we've included below.

Be sure to include a picture with each listing. If you have more than one picture, you're welcome to include it. (pictures sell!). Simply post them under the same thread by clicking on the new thread box, this will open a new window. Repeat this for each picture and a add a short description as well.

Please keep pictures to a reasonable internet resolution (640 X 480 is the max and smaller pics will load faster). The best picture (file) format to use is .jpg's. Period!

Directions...

Step #1. Begin by clicking on the yacht length category that applies. For instance: Motor Yachts 75' to 99'.

Step #2. Next, click on the "New Thread" button. This will open a new window with a "Title" and "Subject Body" to complete. In the Title... list the year, length and model. In the Subject Body... list the specifications, details, features, etc. You can copy and paste this information from any file on your computer. Our software is very forgiving and will adjust accordingly.

Step #3. Scroll down to "Manage Attachments" and click on this button. This will pop-open a small window. Click on the "Browse" button to find the image file located on your computer's hard drive. When you locate the file, double click-it. This will automatically set the file path for you. Next, click the "Upload" button. It will take anywhere from 2 seconds to 30 seconds to upload the image, depending on your internet connection speed. Once the file is uploaded, click the "Close This Window" button and you will be returned to your original workpage with the listing specs.

Step #4. Click to the "Submit New Thread" button and you're finished!

If you would like to add more images, simply repeat the above procedure by clicking on the "Post Reply" button located on your new listing.
