For the all new "60"Convertible, Hatteras has focused squarely on performance and fishability
as top priorities. It is also one of the few fiberglass production boats to feature tumblehome in
the hullsides. It is one of the first of it’s kind to feature a completely “resin-infused hull”, which
produces a boat that weighs significantly less, but has increased strength and durability. The
convex hull design also yields a very smooth and dry ride. The interior furnishings were designed
to be light-weight, giving result to a fast, stable and dry boat. This will all help the 60CV assist
it’s owners to be the first to the fishing grounds! The standard arrangement on the upper
messznine deck holds 15.5 feet of seating, allowing a large party of guests to watch the fishing
action in comfort. It also encompasses bait and tackle drawers and 2 fish boxes. It has a freezer
outboard next to the engine room access. Just behind the bridge ladder are two stainless-lined
tackle drawers hidden behind a drop-down door.
The side-facing ladder leads up to the Flybridge where the central helm console includes power
actuated electroncs, which are protected from the weather. There are two bench seats w/rod
storage underneath. You also have two “Release Marine” adjustable helm chairs, all teak back
so that you can captian in comfort. You also have the Pipewelders Full Tower, which hasoverhead lights, over head drop down engine EDM’s and a digital depth, Edson steering wheel,
Furuno NavNet display, Sat tv dome on hardtop, single lever engine control, antennas…..and
much more. A custom teak highly lacquered finish helm pod completes the flybridge as a true
custom sport fish, also with matching Release helm chairs.
The 60 Convertibles cockpit benefits greatly from the boat’s wide 19-foot beam and it is finished
to the highest level, thanks to side cockpit scuppers that drain through the quarter-fenders and
curved doors that hide the twin 50-amp inlets and quick disconnects for fresh and saltwater
wash-downs. So many features, such as a tip out helm console station with engine and bow
thruster control, CCTV camera, waterproof keypad for stereo, lots of rod holders and underwater
lights!
The engine room features a similar attention to detail, thanks to its clean layout and faired
surface for a true wipe-and-go finish.
So now when the fishing day is done…go for the comfort. The 60 Convertible features a luxurious
salon with an L-shaped sofa and a 42in plasma satalite TV. Or listen to the XM radio with the
lights dimmed, candlelight glowing off the cherry wood interiors while sipping a frozen drink
made from your icemaker. A second 32” LCD is located on the bulk head above the dinette.
In addition to the high gloss cherry wood and raised panel door accents throughout the galley
and salon, it gives this the feel of a luxurious yacht.
The galley features three under-counter Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer units. A four-burner
ceramic cooktop and microwave/convection oven provide plenty of food preparation options,
while deep storage drawers in the galley's fascia offer an abundance of space. Amtico strip
flooring and granite countertops and backsplashes give the galley an elegant look with
long-lasting durability. To starboard, a large dinette features an L-shaped lounge with storage
underneath. The dining table features a custom granite top with decorative pedestal.
This spacious yacht has 3 staterooms and 3 heads. The athwartship Master stateroom
is equipped with an oversized queen/king berth and a 20-inch LCD TV. Nightstands on either
side provide storage, as does a full dresser forward of the stateroom. Twin cedar-lined hanging
lockers are accessible aft of the stateroom and provide additional sound insulation from the
engine room. The master head has private access and features a fiberglass stall shower, Amtico
strip flooring and solid-surface countertops & backsplashes.
Guest accommodations are also luxurious. The VIP stateroom has a Queen berth, TV, AM/FM
stereo and CD, Cedar-lined storage and many other amenities. The starboard stateroom
features twin over/under berths with storage beneath. The standard arrangement provides for
maximized storage below the upper berth as well as twin lockers outboard, which can be used
as a rod locker or bulk storage for long trips. The VIP head and the Guest head carry thru with
the beautiful flooring and cherry wood with the integral sinks and stall showers.
