I've seen worse than the KingCat (as your other photo showed ). At least the King Cat did not try to look like a monohull in disguise. Mind you, still not a yacht I would want for myself, but I wouldn't kick it out of the marina.

You're right Kelly. Credit should be given to KingCat for building something radically different. It is certainly one of the more memorable boats. The design had some merit, but it had some drawbacks too. Although it had a volumous interior, it was semi-void of exterior of deck space. Which begs the question... how are you suppose to hang a fender on this thing?

The fenders were coming out of side pockets as an art of engineering, but probably very sensitive such. My concern is to move around on deck and to wash her down without falling overboard...?

Perhaps there might be an appropriate time to load chain in to one of your neighbour's cannon? Ah, perhaps a bit too harsh.
Reality Check Edit.
Right now I'd rather be aboard anything that floats and is seaworthy. Even if it is ugly it would be better than the landlocked schedule I'm keeping right now. Crazy as it sounds I'm feeling envious of this man right now. http://www.dommee.co.uk/pgs/news/kit...news-LIVE.html

You want an "ugly" boat... you got it!
No Joke... this is the 26' UGLY boat.
Hard to believe a manufacturer would name their boats Ugly, but they've probably gained more recognition with the name, than their advertising dollars could purchase. http://www.uglyboatinc.com/ |

| RM Elegant arrives in Ft. Lauderdale?
Well, not really. This is a new Cruisers model spotted at FLIBS. You to admit, it does have some RM Elegant lines. From the distance, I thought it was a new Sunseeker. As I came closer, I began thinking about the Rogues thread. (just kidding)
What's your opinion?

Yep... cut that bridge off, and you'd have a sweet open!
Good thing they didn't paint the hull white... *cough*bleach bottle*cough*
