Perhaps forgot to say: I don't mean my own list, but your own ideas or names you like, which you have seen

A little collection of nice names

One of my favourites was from the 1970's -
she was called "Morning Vicar!"

But then I guess I'm biased

Ever since I first saw the three masted schooner Shenandoah of Sark many years ago, the name Shenandoah means something special, something beautiful... I guess it originates from the old shanty, Oh Shenandoah.

My own little boat has the name Tétou. I borrowed it from the fish restaurant in Golfe Juan, famous for it´s Bouillabaisse...

Seen on the New River a few years ago:

Big boat, perhaps 80' or so named "Lucky Sperm"

Can't find him in the US Documentation Register, must have changed name or from the Caymans or something.

Quite a few of the clever names does not ahow any class, the above guy must be on top of that list.

Saw "Lucky Sperm" recently in Ft Lauderdale and she was flying an American flag, with "Climax, PA" on the transom as her home port - I kid you not.
Interesting that she does not appear in the registry.
Her logo is 2 intertwined horse shoes, each filled with "lil swimmers"
There MUST be an interesting story behind that one, for sure.

odd names for yacht

As an example which gave me momentary pause:

"an identical sister ship named the "Morning Glory,"
Morning Glory was explained to me by my tailor as "That happy situation in the morning when a gentleman first arises and is incapable of dressing either to the left or to the right".

Any other amusing yacht names that come to mind?

I saw a nice 130' feet motoryacht called ''C Y NOT''..... and another 100' feet greek flagged 'OUZO PALACE'....

I like "Skat".

Original / short (easy for VHF : Sierra Kilo Alfa Tango and that's it) / powerful (raeds very male) but in reality very female : Skat means "darling" in danish.

And by the way...I love the name of my own boat

Red face So true,...

Currently, we call our aluminum Roamer "Tin Tonic" - after my favorite summer drink and a whole lot of other things (Tintanic, the Tonic, etc).
STILL, next time I name a boat, itz gonna be "Domino Effect" - since that what usually happens everytime I attend to the ongoing work project I call my boat.
[Set out to fix one thing, and, oops, gotta fix four more first, no?].
