  1. Azimut 116' Motor Yacht

The new Azimut 116' Motor Yacht, with its mirrored windows, reflects the epitome of modern Italian yacht design. As one of the world's leading yacht builders, Azimut is continually challenged to create yachts that exceed their customers requirements and surpass their own expectations.

Azimut has long been recognized for cutting edge style, but this new yacht is a real cut above. It is proof that a designers imagination can become an engineers reality. Join us for a brief tour of this sensational and stylish new launch from Azimut.
  2. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M91's producing 2000 HP, the new Azimut 116 cruises at 24 knots and tops out at 26 knots. Pretty impressive for 35.8 meter yacht with 7.65 meter beam. At rest, her 132 tons displaces 2.35 meters (including the props at full load).
  3. As dusk falls, the reflection of sunlight is replaced by city lights, in what has to be one of the few yachts to ever use reflective glass windows. They not only provide protection and privacy to the interior, but they create a unique highlight that is accented by sculpted, eliptical window shapes.
  4. This overhead running shot, although only a sectional picture, is almost typical of the elusive mystic that Azimut has cultivated. Ultimately, this picture illustrates the convertible top that provides complete coverage of the flybridge deck.
  5. This picture more clearly illustrates the retractable top, but also shows a deck that was specifically designed for entertaining. It includes a very large wrap around lounge and table, a bar with built in stools that faces aft center and a whirlpool surrounded by sunpads.
  6. This is the salon looking aft. The interior of this particular yacht is straight forward, with a clean, professional decor.
  7. This is the salon looking forward. The hard wood floors and leather couches are remeniscent of a business atmosphere, but they are really utilitarian in nature and would withstand repeated traffic. It's really a good idea. This is a yacht that doesn't require you to remove your shoes to come onboard.
  8. This is one of the guest staterooms. Very modern.
  9. One of the guest bathrooms. The use of mirrors adds the element of size.

  13. The external lines of the Azimut 116 were designed by Stefano Righini and the interior decor by Carlo Galeazzi. It is available in three versions: with the owner's suite on the main deck and four guests' cabins on the lower deck; with all five cabins on the lower deck with ample space on the main deck where, for our American customers, a large open or "country style" galley is proposed including the captain's cabin.

The crew cabins are on the bow of the lower deck and can be easily modified with either two or three cabins (all with bathroom) with a dining area or a washing and ironing area.
