I am getting a high voltage reading on my starboard engine. I have a '99 Sea Ray 400 Dancer with Mercruiser 380's in it. Any one have feedback on what might be causing this?

May airconditoner's also appear to have thermostat problems as they read te inside termperature as 10-15 degrees lower than it really is? Any ideas?

re voltage, start by measuring the actual voltage at the battery terminal with the engine running over 1200rpm and see the gauge is accurate.

you didn't say how if the voltage, but if your'e also getting high voltage at the battery (over 15V on a 12v system), then teh alternator/regulator is suspect. Pull it and take it to a good alternator shop. Make sure they deal with marine stuff, you dont' want non ingition protected componenents on a gaser.

AC... make sure the outlet arent' blowing cold air directly on the Tstat...
