San Lorenzo Launches First SD122
June and July have seen many launches from many different yards. San Lorenzo was not left out of the proliferation of launches when they launched their first SD122 at their facility in early July.
This first semi-displacement yacht stretches for 37.44-meters and has a beam of 8.00-meters. A draft of an even 2.00-meters for those wishing to explore shallow coves. She is constructed mainly from GRP-composite materials for lightweight displacement and sturdy characteristics.
At light displacement she will weigh around 184 tonnes. Her two 1,624 HP CAT C32 ACERT engines will provide her with enough power for a maximum speed of 17 knots. At an economical speed of 12 knots, she can go continuously for 3,000 NM. This will serve her 35,000 LT capacity fuel tank well.
On the inside, the San Lorenzo SD122 has room to accommodate up to 10 persons in 5 cabins. This is inclusive of the owners suite. For the crew members there is space to host 7 in 4 crew cabins.
