Riva Sport Yachts at Barcelona Show...

Hi,

Last Barcelona Boat Show, the italian shipyard RIVA displayed the two most beautifull boats in all the Boat Show (in my opinion).

This shipyard is part of the Ferretti Group, and their products are really special, I don't know if they are well know in USA.

Pictures look nice, but the real impression of the boat is incredible. Really something different from the yachts around.

Regards,

Sarnacho

Riva boats are really colored highlights in the "white world" of yachts. Beautiful design.

Beautful, yes.
I can see myself getting on or off the one on the right. The one to the left makes me a bit nervous. Perhaps I'm just not used to the idea of a perfectly still boat in calm water.
Ah well, just the thoughts of a practical old man.

Riva 68 ego

I was exposed to the sight of a 68 ego all summer long on a small Greek island, Antiparos. The boat looked amazing, although i was split between the ego, a Baia Panther and a Magnum pininfarina the same guy owned and moored side by side, last year he had a Baia azura instead of the ego, poor guy....

In Monaco you can see a few of each at the classic Riva facility, today more fibreglass boats than mahogany, but still impressive...
