New Launch: Richmond Yacht 150' "Status Quo" 1 Attachment(s) Richmond Yachts launch 150-foot "Status Quo" Hull number 6 was recently launched at the Richmond Yacht facility in British Columbia. The new yacht is the new 150-foot "Status Quo", successor to the 2003-launched 138-foot yacht of the same name. The new yacht also represents the largest FRP-constructed yacht to be built in Canada. Status Quo is 150-feet long, 28-feet wide and draws a minimum draught of just over 6.5-feet. Twin MTUs with 2,000 HP each will give her an expected speed of around 18 knots. She is expected to also have a range of 3,500 NM with just over 49,000 LT of fuel. The 312 tonne Status Quo has been designed by Ward Setzer of Setzer Design and the interior was a joint effort between Pavlik and Richmond Yachts. She sleeps 12 guests in 6 staterooms and 10 crew to serve the guests and the yacht's functions. Status Quo is is currently for sale and asking 30-Million dollars.
