Hello guys... I finally found some time to take a few pictures of my boat to display here. I have been working on re-doing the entire cabin since last winter. I'm just about finished now. Next thing on the list, is a haul out on August 16th to have the bottom painted.

The weather down here in Stuart has made it bad for fishing. Big thunder storms every afternoon.

Nice "Post" (in both meanings of the word). Looks like an exceptionally well maintained boat. Let's go mess it up!

Nice looking boat...
The teak & holly sole looks great, and the dinette is show quality.
however - do you find that the location of your clutch controls is a little difficult? Having both throttles inboard of your stbd. clutch with the port clutch all the way on the other side of the console seems kinda strange. Why not group them together?

Actually, I prefer them in that location. When backing down or docking into my slip, I'm facing the stern with my hands on clutches. It's sort of pre-pod design. The only problem, is adjusting the throttles while facing the stern. But, for backing into a slip at idle, it's the ideal design for me.

The single lever (clutch and throttle) design now on the pods, takes some getting used too. I was told the delay in the response could get you in big trouble at the fuel dock or backing into you slip.

I made the dinette (1" marine plywood). Had the foam cut to size at the Efoamstore in Wilkes Barre, PA. The foam was only $258. Getting the foam covered was the wallet buster, $1500. But the job did turn out like I wanted it.

In my opinion, Capt. Hank's Post has the best controls.... a laptop and a desk!

I don't know why more manufacturers don't incorporate desks or mini offices into their interiors. For me, that would be a HUGE selling point. We built an "L" shaped desk with drawers into the aft salon of the Broward. Every buyer that looked at the boat stated it was one of the best features onboard.

I originally started out to build a "murphy" desk, that fit flush into the wall. Contained within the wall were the perephrial jacks and wiring. Used in conjunction with a folding chair, the existing interior space suffers little or no penalty.
