Northeast 2006 Rendezvous???

Anyone interested in trying to help organize a POST get together this summer? I'm based out of Northern NJ on the Hudson River in Jersey City. My marina would definitely work with us. I'm thinking somewhere between Atlantic City NJ and Newport RI as the boundaries.

POST Get Together

These are always fun. Great opportunity to compare notes on maintenance, upgrades and have a good time.

I tried to see if we could organize something similar at Block Island, RI a while back but it never happened. As it was, I went on my own and met 4 other Posts that also just happened to be there the same weekend.

Some Long Island Sound boaters also like Montauk, but for me, Block is only a few more miles and LOTS nicer.

My other favorite destinations are Cuttyhunk and Martha's Vineyard but that might be too long a haul from NJ.

I've scheduled the first 2 week in July as vacation. I'll be in the Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket area. Would love to hook up with other Post owners

Hello, we have a '91 46 "OUTPOST" in Delray Beach. It would be tough for us this year because we have not made our first extended trip yet. Planning some short runs to the Bahamas this summer to learn the boat better. We would be in for next summer though. If anyone is interested in the Bahamas, we can help on the plan. We have a good knowledge of the Islands and some of the less traveled places.

Thank you for the interest from Florida. Admirable intentions but I certainly don't blame you for not coming all the way up here.

I just planned a 2 week trip in August to Vineyard, Nantucket, Cape, etc. Everywhere wants prepaid reservations and space is already tight. I really don't think we can get several boats in anywhere this late.

What about trying to hit Block Island in September after the summer rush?

I'm in CT and try to hit Block as much as possible. Early Sept might work as we can pick the kids up after school and arrive before dark. Head back around noon Sunday.
