| Clamshell vents for a Post
Does anyone have a possible source for the white plastic clamshell covering my fuel vent on the side of the hull? Largest ones that I can find are 2"x2" Mine are somewhere around 2 3/4"

Beau,
that seems like a pretty unique part.
I have wondered what the source is.
where did you find the 2x2 ones,
i dont need them now, but Id like to put the source in my log incase i do need them donw the road.
I have considered alwgrip or similar paint on a chrome one if i need one and cant source it.
thanks

The 2x2s are pretty common on the net. Can't find anything larger. Hope the new Post site gets up and running soon. Post is known for its esoteric suppliers.

BEAU, take a dockwalk or a yard ramble and check out the smaller hullside vents on a Hatteras or two, preferably older ones, and you might find just what you're looking for. Then, try SAMS for the purchase.

Thanks Loren. I'll check out SAMS. BTW, who or what is that? I definitely know what I am looking for, I have the original that got crushed this Winter.... I just can't find a vendor.

Good luck.
