Just came across some interesting trivia. I thought this might turn into an interesting thread. Here goes...

What founder of a famous American whiskey owned a Broward?

    Just an idea

First about your question: I don't know. :)

I think that trivia is an excellent idea. There are many members who have great knowledge about yachting and everything that is connected to yachting, so this could be a nice topic to exchange that knowledge about interesting things that doesn't belong in existing topics.

There is similar topic on another forum about F1. In less than 6 months it grew to over 40 threads. It works in a way that each person who answers the question must ask the next one. If there is a story behind the question, that's even better.

Not only this could be fun and interesting... but also very educational.

The Broward Jonathan III was built for Harry Blum, the founder of Jim Beam Distilleries.

Since you were almost right, you are entitled to ask another Trivia question!

Question - (I met this gentleman last year)

At one time, he owned the largest boat building company in America and now he’s a partner in the largest yacht builder in America. Who is he and can you name his yacht?

Continuing on this theme, Evviva was sold last year to a gentleman who at one time owned another well known US yacht builder.

Who is he and which builder did he own?

    Correct!
The endeavor will be called Cobalt Yachts. At the moment, the new company is working primarily in the identification of a plant site, certain to be in the southeastern United States, as well as going through the selection process of key management team members. Constantinos (Cos) Constantinou, until recently Cobalt Boats’ Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has been appointed President of Cobalt Yachts. Over the past months Cos has been directing Cobalt Yachts' efforts, using his extensive and diverse experience in the yachting segment. Placing particular emphasis on the recruitment of talented associates, Cos and his team continue the definition and execution of the multiple variables necessary to the launching of a new company.

    You're up!
