I have not had any trouble lately.

I am more intrigued by their new projects, especially the 335 (~102 m). Any info?

St. Barths Bucket

Quote:
The St. Barths Bucket has just concluded after 3 remarkable days of racing in the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean with a fleet of 39 superyachts, and 7 Perini Navi yachts attending the event. The Overall Winners out of 39 yachts were "Ranger", a J class 42-meter, the 47m Perini Navi "Andromeda la Dea" in second and "P2", the 38m Perini Navi in 3rd place after handicapping.

S/Y Andromeda la Dea, 47 meter was awarded first place in Les Grandes Dames de Mer class reserved for Cruising boats and P2, the high perfomance Perini Navi S/Y of 38 meter, received second place in Les Gazelles de Mer Racing class.

Each race of the regatta aroused great emotions to all boats participating: in the first race, The Around the Island Race, "Salute", the Perini Navi sloop of 56 m, launched in 2008, with the highest aluminum mast in the world, sailed an excellent race to finish second in Les Grandes Dames, only three minutes behind the winner "Hetairos", S / Y of 40 meter. Salute finished in 6 place overall.

In Les Gazelles class P2, helmed by Australian Peter Holmberg impressively captured 2nd Place just behind the J class yacht Ranger and beating some very notable racing yachts. In the third and last race, Wrong Way Around Course, the Podium was entirely occupied by Perini Navi: Andromeda la Dea finished first, with a very close second "Riela" and "Helios" third and "Antara" fifth. The results of the third day saw no less than 6 Perini Navi’s finish in the first 12 boats in Class Les Grandes Dames and P2 finished second in Les Gazelles.

Among other awards presented Antara, the 46.5m Perini Navi , received the All Star Crew Award. At each Bucket Event, every yacht is asked to cast a ballot for the yacht crew among the fleet that demonstrates the most professional service in all tasks, while maintaining the best joie de vivre, camaraderie, teamwork and respect among the crew.

"Baracuda", the 50m Perini Navi won the Vitters Seamanship Trophy, which is awarded to the yacht that demonstrates the best seamanship and sportsmanship in the interest of promoting safety on the race course. Baracuda retired from the last race in order to provide medical attention to one of their guests.

Andromeda la Dea was awarded the Perini Navi Trophy, as the Perini Navi Yacht with the best combined result and sailing performance in the regatta. Perini Navi staff want to take the opportunity to thank all the Perini Navi and participating sailing yachts, the Bucket organizers and race committee for the splendid regatta and great fun.

Superyacht Cup (Palma) Perinis!

Quote:
The 88 meter clipper - The "Maltese Falcon" - and the 38-meter sloop "P2", the first of the Perini Group's Racing Line of sailing yachts, built by Perini Navi and designed by French designer Philippe Briand, will be racing at the Superyacht Cup Palma 2010 that will be held from 8 to 12 June 2010

The Superyacht Cup Palma 2010 this year’s event will be held in the same location in the centre of Palma on the Muelle Viejo. Are expected 24 superyachts, over 600 participants sailing and over 1,000 owners, crew, guests and industry representatives attending the evening social functions.

This year will again be a four day event opening with the Welcome Cocktail Party, followed by racing for three days and close with a spectacular Prize Giving Evening at Es Baluard Museum with live music and dancing. Each evening after racing the crews and guests will gather for fun, lively and colourful 'themed' parties held in the grand canopé structure within the Regatta Village adjacent to the yachts. The 'Yacht Hop' was a very well received new element for 2009 and will be repeated, where owners and invited guests have the option to view the fleet of superyachts and entertain their 'neighbours' along the quayside.

Hull number C.2173 is quickly taking shape. In just 5 months the workers at the Perini's Turkish yard completed the fabrication of the aluminum hull. It is expected that nearing the end of Summer 2010 the shell of the vessel will be transported to the Viareggio Perini yard for finishing. 2173 is a 50-meter ketch-rigged yacht designed by Ron Holland and is expected to launch in 2012.
