Hello, have someone some goog quality pictures of yachts from Perini Navi, ore where I can find some on the web. Maybe some pictures from the Perini Navi Cup. Ciao Roys
Well speaking of Perini Navi yachts, I just realised that the guys worked out the problem that we were expeiencing with the inability to see or scroll across on the 'in navigation' section of their website. It is working now and they have added the s/y Tamsen II as their lastest yacht in navigation. They also added 5 new sailing pics of her: http://www.perininavi.it/galleria.cfm?IdBarca=40#
"Panthalassa" aft cockpit area outside the main saloon as seen in this pic from Camper Nicholsons. Be sure to check their website for the rest of the pictures of the whimsical shapes in this interior. Definitely not the typical Perini Navi interior.
Be sure to check the interior designer's website -Remi Tessier- for a series of wonderful pictures of the 56-meter "Riela". http://www.remitessier.com/3.aspx?sr=7 You can alo see well detailed shots of "Salute'"... http://www.remitessier.com/3.aspx?sr=5
It's a pity that these special "sail" topics have so few visitors. There are so many wonders like this Perini range.
I am not sure what you mean? Do you mean that the Sail Yacht forums or this particular thread is not regularly visited?
Yes. 2700 (S/Y) vs 14600 (M/Y). People prefer M/Y, no doubt. Did they have a look at S/Y galleries, like Perini ? Really, it' a wonderful world that deserves the same success than Motor Yacht section.
I agree, M/Ys are definitely more popular. I think people do not like the list associated with a sail yacht under full sail unless they are really into the sea and sailing.
Here are some photos of an unknown sailing yacht. She looks like a Perini and her name might be "Zenji" but I do not know for sure. These photos were taken on August 15 by the Malibu Pier.
zenji does she have a black hull? i assume zenji means black in arabic and african blacks are named zenci in turkish. i wonder what the relation is???
Yachtnews, thank you very much for the link. Without a doubt this is a great yacht. The Perini lines are impossible to miss. In comparison, Nazenin V of RMK shipyard is similar in displacement, however it has 1,000m2 of sails whereas Melek has 1,525m2. I can't imagine how the sailing experience would be with the 9,5m draft. Nilo, you were right. I researched the word in the Hebrew dictionary, it means "King", used as a title before a name. (i.e. Eli Melek)
