The Turmoil(as shown in post 2), out of the Cayman Islands, with the helicopter deck is in St. John's, NL, currently, she's been here for 2 days.
They were untying the copter to take it up for a flight when I just left viewing the vessel a half hour ago.

The Turnoil, the one from post #2, anchored beside us at the island of Vulcano in Sicliy in 2003 while i was working on the Barabah.

I had a short chat with the owner, really friendly guy. He told me he a traveled some 40k miles with her already. Sorry to hear he may have passed away, I actually just googled Turmoil because i still remember.

Beautiful yacht, nice to see someone build a real ship instead of a fashion accessory. The front deck was taken up with tenders, I don't think you could land a helicopter on there.

Hi,

Welcome to Yacht Forums.

The Turmoil pictured in post No 2 was not built in 2003, you must have seen the original Palmer Johnson one which I would say by 2003 would have done much more than 40,000 miles, I saw it in Australia in 1998 and know the Captain who took it over then took it all over the place.

Hey Everyone!

I heard that the Turmoil was heading to Brazil sometime this month. Does anyone know if they have arrived or when they will?

I just ran that through an online translator to get the gist of it:

He is Beautiful! I finish seeing it in Buenos Aires in Port Log.
his owner passed away, is thus?
who is taking a walk this way then?

Nautico, we generally do not discuss owner's private lives here at Yachtforums. You are more than welcome to discuss the yacht though.

Carbon monoxide poisoning, certainly not a good thing to have! Can lead to temporary or even permanent brain injury. It's a good thing you noticed the design flaw during the 'trials' as opposed to somewhere further down the line!

Hi,

Nautico- You will probably make more sense and be involved in more discussion if you can post in English so other forum members who are not multi lingual understand what you are talking about.

gthompson- were you once a crew member of Turmoil ( the old one)?

Hi,

Your welcome.

I was actually asking the person who posted above you and has the user name gthompson if he was an ex crew member as if so then I probably know who he is.

Welcome to Yacht Forums, you will find it an informative and sometimes lively place to have a discussion.
