The OceAnco Y707 begins construction at Zwijnenburg
Work on the project Y707 for OceAnco began in earnest back in July 2008 with the keel laying of the vessel. She is earmarked for delivery in 2011 with her steel hull and aluminum superstructure are being fabricated at Zwijnenburg and finishing at OceAnco.
The 87-meter long explorer styled yacht is to feature sleek lines to harmoniously flow to her aft Main-Deck. There, a large pool with an infinity edge, rests with a large bar in view. As on "Alfa Nero" (Y702), the floor in the aft pool on Y707 will be able to rise and convert to a helipad.
Because most of the superstructure is forward of amidships, an explorer style was created. The decks rise from lower up to the Sun-Deck where plenty of space is for relaxation. On the fore of that deck, there is a circular jacuzzi-pool flanked on both sides by narrow sunpads.
On the interior, the space will be voluminous. Each interior deck carries its own private exterior spaces. This allows flexibility if the owner wants to use the yacht privately, corporately or publicly. However, comfort and the utmost luxury is expected when this yacht is completed in 2011.
