It's been TOO long since I've seen a round transom. Reminds me an era long past. It's understandable why these sterns are not often used, as they don't easily facilitate boarding, water toys, aft-stern access, but... they are beautiful to behold.

To Maarten or Merjin... can you post some more pics for everyone to see?

dilbar trial

Friday 1st of april, the Dilbar will sail out for her first trial on the river. She will leave Oceanco around noon.

The Dilbar was placed on 192 wheels!! She left at 06.00 from Oceanco. She passed without any problems the bridges from Rotterdam. at 11.00 she arrived in the Wilton harbour. There the tractors drove on to the smaller ponton Skyline Barge 10. That ponton sunk slowly so the Dilbar floated in the water. 2 tugs brought her back to Alblasserdam. From there she made 1st of april her first river trial. Pics from the interior of the Dilbar will follow soon.

As usual butiful lines.. oceAco all over..Shame I never had anything to do with this one... ONLY,,,, the Mast!!!!!! YUK!!!!!! Doesnt flow with the rest of the line..against actually...(my own VERY humble opinion )
