| FAA to probe helo crash involving yacht owner http://www.bangordailynews.com/detail/114122.html Quote:
LITTLE DEER ISLE, Maine — Four people escaped injury late Saturday afternoon when a small helicopter unexpectedly landed in the water near Little Deer Isle, an island off the Hancock County coastline.
According to Chris Barry, a search and rescue coordinator for the U.S. Coast Guard, the helicopter originated from the Lady Christine, a 185-foot luxury yacht that was docked in Bangor all of last week. | |

| Lady Christine makes a visit to Monhegan Is, Maine.
We were privileged to see her briefly anchor off Monhegan whilst her crew visited a local store.
Beautiful.

With all the post I have seen, I surprised not to have seen the 45 knot 35 meter jet
boat tagging along". you might say it's in the family. |

| Lady Christine
Thanks for the info ! I was rather suprised that she was back in Europe when I saw the thread by email.. I am afraid to say, Well, Nice yacht ! There is no doubt ! But, Alas.. The wrong Lady Christine ! Could be her twin sister there is no mistake. This is a much later yacht. Lady Christine in question on this thread being launched 2000. Still. Nice Pics and glad you posted them.

Hi,
The one pictured above is the current yacht to bear that name.
This one came out of Van Lent and the previous smaller one was an Oceanco one.

| Lady Christine verses Lady Christine
Which begs the question. 'Why did Feadship almost clone the original and just stretch it and then still call it Lady Christine..' Same buyer? Having been the Lead Mechanical designer for the Oceanc Lady Christine I have always held her above all. She was My baby and spent 70+ hours a week while in design. Spent over 100 hours onboard. Then Feadship turn out this. No love lost between mer and Feadship at all having been a senior designer there too. This is probably the best MY they ever built. She is a lovely example,,,, BUT hardly original ! ! But seeing as this is a thread dedicated to Ocenaco Lady Christine and NOT Feadship I will just let that one slip..

Hi,
To the best of my knowledge it is the same Owner for both.
