Lady Christine across the street

She's across the street from my tiny home (which might fit onto her upper deck?!?!!) - in Newport, RI by the Newport Shipyard across from Goat Island.

I was eating dinner in Newport RI @ the Castle Hill Inn and this unique craft came through. I was impressed with the heli on the back so i snapped a few pics. I did google search to get more info on the craft out of intrest, I figure you guys might enjoy the pic so here goes!

Welcome to YF HOLESHOT27. Nice pic. So she's heading back out. Nantucket next maybe? Looks like they're seeing some sights.

She looks nice at any angle but as you say.."Angelus may be bias" LOL
Nice pics people. Thanks. Although, The aft end picture. What on Earth is going on with my passerelle pantagraph door? Looks like its about to fall off. Took 9 years but looks very crooked. Had they just closed or maybe about to open it. I think the hydraulic lock have not engaged properly.. Thanks again anyway..

I was wondering the same thing, it looked strange as it wasn't closed flush with the hull. It doesn't look like it is about to fall off, you are exaggerating but it doesn't look as normal.

I was having drinks at Castle Hill with my boss when you shot this pic; Small World.
She left Martha's Vineyard this morning and we crossed her path as we were leaving Nantucket.

I hate boats that don't move. Clearly that is not the situation with this yacht. Good for them and for the people who get to enjoy the sight of her on the move.

Well dah!. I didn't mean it as an exaggerating, but the way it was designed was that the 4 hydraulic locks not only give you a watertight seal but also take some of the strain off the main pivot point. This door weighs,, well a hell of a lot.. But agree yes..strange to see. last I saw this door in the flesh it was completely flush. Something is adrift. Skipper! If you read this PM me and i will fix it for you for the cost of a day onboard! LOL..

Hi everyone, I'm new here, but I'd just like to thank everyone for keeping track of Lady Christine, as my son is crew on board, and it's not always easy finding out where he is.

Ken.

Ken.
This is worse than when my mother knew about my skitching on the Good Humor truck before I even got home. Should be interesting if a pic shows up with him and his new GF or something.
