I was hoping someone out there has some info on the performance of the 46 OA sport sedan(1990s) most seem to have either 375 cats or 485 detroits any info re cruise and top end speeds would be great

I have a similar engine question. I have looked at several 423 Classico OAs.
Then engines vary from 120 Fords to 235 Cummins to 350 Cats.

I see some listing claim to cruise at 14 knots, but many show 8 to 10 knots.
I assume the 14 kts are by the large Cats, but what kind of fuel consumption for the extra 6 kts? And, can one run the 350 at slower speed (10 knts) and get the efficiency of the smaller engines. I like the extra power available when needed for current and wind, etc. but am happen with the slower cruise most of the time.

Any suggestions appreciated.
