White Rose of Drachs at Cap d'Ail

Last week I was at the South of France and saw the White Rose of Drachs at Cap d'Ail. She was moored at the place what was first the private berth of Cedar Sea II. And of course I made some pictures of her!

Her tenders were all store outsite the yacht. She has the same aft garage as Numptia (now New Sunrise)...

Not only her aft garage looks like the one on Numptia, but the whole design of the yacht is based on the design of Numptia. To me the Numptia looks better with her roundings than the White Rose of Drachs.

White Rose of Drachs was built by Kusch Yachtbau in Germany and she was delivered in June to her owner. This was her first visit to the Cote d'Azur. Some days before she went to Cap d'Ail she was also spotted at Saint Tropez together with the Wedge Too.

She is finished in a very high quality just as you may expect from a German yard. Look at how beautiful they made the wood with the spots.

About her interior is nothing known for the moment, but she has an English owner so I think it would look classical English. As one of our fellow spotters saw her with a helicopter making some pictures of her we can expect her in a magazine in the next months.

Her owner was onboard and his guests were enjoying her toys. Her owner is a businessman from England and his old yacht was a 35m Water & Sons.

I was on her a while ago. Got loads of great photos of the interior. The Interior is very classic english, a bit over the top for my liking, but a great yacht!

As for the tender garage there is also two rivas that come out from the sides.

The owner had just had his new SLR delivered the day I meet them

She moored this afternoon off the small village of Dalyan, near Cesme, Turkey. A friend phoned me for information on her - she's anchored just off his balcony and he was wondering what she was and who is the owner and what in Hell does "Drachs" mean!
