OVERVIEW: CARRY ON is one of the highly desirable Sport Deck models and certainly the nicest one on the market thanks to an owner and crew who desired the best and most up to date Hatteras 70 on the waterfront. Considerable updating to CARRY ON is described in detail in the following pages.

ACCOMODATIONS: Sleeps 8 in four double staterooms, all located in the lower level. The Master is located aft of the full width engine room. It is furnished with a centerline King berth and built-in bureaus outboard to port and starboard. There are his and hers heads aft of the berth and accessed to port and starboard. A Jacuzzi tub/shower combination separates the two heads. Both heads furnished with marble decking and partial marble splash fronts. The master stateroom is furnished with a Sharp flat screen TV, Toshiba DVD, and
Sony Stereo.

The VIP guest stateroom is amidship forward of the engine room, accessed from the pilothouse. Furnished with an island queen berth, there are also bedside cabinets and two cedar hanging lockers along with abundant built-in drawers. The VIP stateroom has an ensuite head with Jacuzzi tub and shower. Fwd. VIP and midships VIP have Magnavox LCD flatscreen with built-in DVD players.

Next forward from the VIP cabin is the laundry center with a Whirlpool stacked washer and drye

Two additional staterooms are forward including an upper and lower berth, crew cabin to port with head and shower ensuite. Fully forward is the fourth stateroom with a tapered double bed and ensuite head and shower.

All closets throughout are cedar lined.
Updates to interior in 2007/2008 include:
Entire interior wood repaired or recoated as necessary.
All new drapes and all new bed mattresses (Handcraft Mattress Company)
Nearly all mirrors replaced with new
Dinette sofa cushions recovered
Head floors tiled and trimmed
All wall paper replaced with new
Interior drapes, bed surrounds
New Rope lights all through the vessel as needed
All toilet bowls replaced with new, fresh water heads

PILOTHOUSE
On the main deck aft of the working foredeck is the pilothouse with sliding doors port and starboard, There is a built in bench seat aft of the center helm station with chart drawers below. From the pilothouse there is a stairway up to the flybridge, and a stairway down to the VIP, guest, and crew staterooms. A passage door leads aft to the main deck galley and salon. The pilothouse affords excellent visibility forward as well as to port and starboard. In 2007 new door locks were fitted for the port and starboard pilothouse doors.

GALLEY:
The U-shaped galley is located aft of the pilothouse to port with a 4 person dinette opposite. The galley has new granite counter tops with a new stainless steel sink and new faucet from Restoration Hardware. 2008 update includes all new counter tops, all new appliances (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, sink, insinkerator.

New galley and PH floor in ash with light resin insert by Teak Decking Systems with multiple coats clear coat urethane.

New Roman blinds installed in galley and all new carpet installed throughout vessel with new padding. New under-counter galley lights.

MAIN SALON:
Aft from the galley is the full width salon, furnished with sofa, end tables, cocktail table, and matching upholstered seating. To port is the built in salon wet bar with sink, storage cabinets, and ice maker
The built-in entertainment system includes a new, upgraded to flat panel hi-def TV with new Blue-Ray DVD player, new and additional speakers, and a new single unit remote control for all systems. The television signal is provided by a newly upgraded KVH 5 Satellite TV system. There is a Sony Mega Disc 200 CD changer.

AFT DECK
From the main salon an offset door leads to open aft deck and from there a stairway leads down to the integral sport deck with built-in cabinets and freezer. A deck hatch provides access to a lazarette and mechanical area. In 2007 a new aft deck awning frame with cover was installed.


UPGRADES 2007/2008
All toilet bowls replaced with new.
All heads converted to fresh water flush with mostly new hoses.
Several pumps replaced with service reconditioned units.
Black water tank pump out system modified with new pump, timer and lock out switch.
Two new camera units (engine room and view aft - corrected view); Monitors at PH and FB.
Serviced wiper system - 3 new spindles, arms and blades.
Two new horn trumpets.
P/S - main engine exhaust manifold seals changed - both engines
All coolant changed, flushed system
Fwd. genset engine end replaced with new. new check valve and new exhaust pot
New check valve added to aft genset
New main engine raw water impellers.
Changed all engine, transmission and generator oils/filters. March 2008
Marquipt dinghy cane fully serviced with new ram, new cable, new controls, bearings, etc.
Main breakers at PH panel replaced with new
Fire system upgraded and certified
Engine room CO2 replaced with new
New hydraulic steering ram
Bow thruster motor removed and replaced with correct size, new batteries and charger under bow cabin berth
Added 4 folding/pop up cleats at swim platform.
Replaced large number of hoses in bilge for water supply to air conditioning, heads, generator, etc.
