Build Underway: Moonen 124' "Snow White"
May 03, 2008: "Hull and superstructure of largest Moonen transported." On the 3rd of May, the hull and superstructure of the largest Moonen ever build, the new 124' "Snow White" was transported to the new extra location in Groot-Ammers and to be assembled together. The hull was coming from Gorinchem and the superstructure from 's-Hertogenbosch. It was an impressive transport in the Dutch surroundings!
In this new facility, for yachts up to 45 metres, the completion of the first 37.80-metre Moonen 124 Displacement yacht, will be done. The Moonen 124 will be sailing in the Spring 2009.
Besides Groot-Ammers, Moonen will continue to build yachts up to 35 metres in 's-Hertogenbosch and maintain design, engineering, purchasing, and interior joinery there for projects in both locations.
