Nilo, I should have guessed you could be around and contacted you in advance, but I was too busy organizing meetings with our suppliers.
Hope you had a good show!

Moonen's "My Issue II" has had her asking price reduced. The 2006-built yacht is asking 12.5-Million Euros currently. Previously the asking price was 14.95-Million Euros. |

Apparently Moonen has a 129-foot model in development? In addition to a 110model! Interesting move though! Not surprising as their new Groot facility will allow them to build up to 164-feet.

| Moonen's Refit Lunch... Quote:
’s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands: The inaugural Moonen Refits Lunch at the recent Antibes boat show attracted an impressive number of yachting influentials. Well over thirty captains, brokers, superintendents, yacht managers, owner’s reps and senior members of the press enjoyed a tasty selection of food and drinks as Moonen provided an overview of its competencies and ambitions in the refit arena.
“The case studies we presented showed what can be achieved when a yacht is placed in the right hands for a refit,” explains Mark Vermeulen, director operations at the Dutch Moonen Shipyards. “Our capacity to rebuild both Moonen yachts and other premium quality superyachts was appreciated by all the attendees. Having received many positive reactions from our industry peers and welcomed a higher than expected turnout, we intend to host other Moonen Refits Lunch events at upcoming boat shows.”

The design remains the same essentially.

| Moonen caused a stir at the recently concluded Monaco Yacht Show in September... Quote:
Moonen Yachts caused a considerable stir on the Friday of the Monaco show by staging a unique crowd event. At a carefully arranged time and strategically chosen location, up to 25 flash mobbers sprung into action – or to be more accurate inaction. The actors and actresses froze in place with a glossy Moonen brochure in front of their face, causing considerable astonishment and curiosity among all those who were present.
“The level of market and public interest in the Moonen brand has increased a great deal over the past two years,” explains managing director Emile Bilterijst. “Unprecedented at the Monaco show, this flash mob event celebrated our increased visibility in a unique way. It was also a moment of light-hearted fun amongst all the serious business being conducted.” After completing their ‘performance’, the members of the flash mob split off into groups to spread thought the show location with fashionable Moonen bags.

Seems like the new 42-meter Moonen in build could be called "Sofia III".
