Dubois 121' fast cruising sloop

Dubois’ unfinished symphony

Like all great composers in the past, their unfinished work often became their most famous masterpieces. This rule usually does not apply to Naval Architects, but there are rare (and unfortunate) occasions where even the most laureate yacht designer sees a creation grounded.

Moyaco is proud to offer a detailed concept for the completion of the 121’ Dubois world cruising performance sloop as their pilot project. The yacht was constructed at the renowned Bayards shipyard in Holland. The hull is a testimony to Bayards’ craftsmanship and experience with complex aluminium constructions.

The design of the yacht is without a single doubt the most distinctive Dubois style of them all. Her sistership “Our Blue Dream”, Red Dragon and Mamamouchi are some fine examples of this Dubois design era.

After six months of reviewing the project we have created a variety of options that will bring this yacht at the top of its class. The technical concept has been severely updated and the interior design has also been redone to ensure that the design is up to the latest standards.

This yacht is the best opportunity to acquire a Dubois design classic combined with 21st century technology. Although the superstructure is a timeless icon, we have taken the unholy liberty to redesign it from the deck up. The options offer the owner the possibility to choose the superstructure that fits his requirements the most. The options go from a more traditional and distinguished appearance to a more racing inspired, stretched and sleek look.

This is probably one of the most fabulous options of this Moyaco project. Being able to adept a Dubois performance hull into a truly custom sailingyacht.

Adding the fact that Moyaco strictly commissions members of the Holland Yachting Group, owners can rest assure that they will get the best yacht possible. The fact that most of the group’s shipyards are building the world’s best ships for more than a century added with their financial stability is probably the ultimate insurance.

More detailed information about theconcept, redesign and revised layouts are available strickty on request.
