Hey Gareth it's good that you found the staff that way. It reflects though. However, how u got the bus fare to B'town as 50 US cents? it is a $1.50 BArbados and that would not work out to 50Cent US...maybe it would be in the region of 75c US for you for one bus fare.

Mary Jean

Mary-Jean is back here in Barbados once more at the Port St. Charles Marina. She is sandwiched between the Kaori and the Argyll.

Yachtluvr. You ought to warn readers here about the ban on camouflage in Barbados. Derek at Port St Charles never warned us. One of the owner's friends had to go into the toney bar at Port St C with his trousers on inside out.

Apparently they even made a girl on the beach in a camouflage bikini, cover up (I'd have a better suggestion).

Camouflage clothing is pretty popular in the states at the moment.

LOL, Gareth, yes it is true, camo is not legal here in Barbados. If you are caught, the wear usually is confiscated. I'm sorry you all had to find out the hard way. The only people allowed to wear camo is the Barbados Defence Force and other armed units not normal civilians.

Mary-Jean left last night!

The Kaori seemed to have either had her sails repaired here or just recieved new sails, the crew has reinstalled the main and are currently putting up the inner jib?

Earth Race

The Biodiesel yacht "EarthRace" is here in Barbados. She actually came here like 4 days ago but she is in Port St. Charles as of this evening. She is starting the circumnavigation of the globe from here. I think they said the fastest was 72 days? or something..
Just thought i would let you all know.

Earth Race appears to be at slip 5 or 6 just below the fuel dock.

A nice side shot of the slips today. A few lesser yachts... and the Kaori's mast is closest to the cam and the Earth race biodiesel yacht.. fartherest away.
