My apologies also to V65, as I just saw Attessa IV (ex Evergreen) sail past with my binoculars.

Ok, i have two Tasco brand binoculars. The older one is: 10X50, 1000yds
The newer one also a Tasco 'sonoma' is 16X50 has a field of range(FOV) of 185 feet. It is quite good from distance.. allows me to spot all these yachts that i was seeing around here in Barbados with out leaving home.
I feel i need more powerful ones though, probably when next i go back up to Canada.

Hey Out My Window, I thought Attessa IV was already berthed at CFI.
If you check out Yacht-Images.com, in the Attessa IV gallery, it shows her at CFI on April5th.
Have they just been taking her out for joyrides before they do the big revamp?
BTW, do you know where Apoise is now?

I wonder how she will look when she is finished. Will she retain the all white appearence? or will she get the dark Blue hull and the chrome/silver superstructure like the Attessa III . Will there be any major structural modificaions..?

Apoise is still under quarantine behind a chain link fence. Quote: | Originally Posted by YachtLuver

Should be interesting, as Mr.W doesn't skimp on his yachts, the other Attessa has won awards for her refit, he's getting quite a collection now with these two and Impromptu as well.

Since I posted her picture earlier in this tread, and mentioned she was behind a fence at the Harbour Police dock.
This is either detention for what ever reason, or she has friends in high places to get her own private government dock with 24 hour security. |

Yes, it could be something as simple as "terrorist security measures", but I prefer to think it's something more sinister than that, maybe:
Smuggling Breadfruit or Human Trafficking. |

Chelsea Owner's Parrot to Do Bird Over Flu FearsAn exotic parrot belonging to Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich will have to be caged and tested for bird flu and other diseases when the Russian's super-yacht visits New Zealand next month.
Quarantine officials fear that the African grey parrot on board the £60m cruiser, Le Grand Bleu, could potentially be carrying various diseases, including up to 15 strains of avian flu.
Mr Abramovich, who is estimated to be worth more than £7.5bn, will have to foot the bill for a series of tests on the bird, which is dubbed the "Cadillac of parrots" thanks to its gift of speech.
