Brian, she's here now, but to far away for a decent picture. Maybe I can lure her in closer by dangling a can of gas?.

Here's a link to Diana Yacht Designers - MY Evergreen was one of their larger yachts; there is even a PDF file with her GA available there:

I've searched a bit and you all may know this but Evergreen was built in Nagasaki, Japan and is (or was) owned by Yung-fa Chang, owner of Evergreen Shipping Co. I have attached a couple of old photos of her sporting an "evergreen" hull. There was rumors he was planning on building a bigger Evergreen II yacht but it seems nothing materialized. Evergreen was listed for 55M USD a while back. On another forum, I too have read its name changing to Attessa IV and will be going through a refit soon at Vancouver Shipyard (as did the Attessa III) Owned by Mr. Washington. It seems believeable to me. I guess everyone has footitis!

Just got back from a soggy boat ride to down town (Vancouver).Spotted a huge private yacht on the North Vancouver waterfront, upon closer inspection it was the Altessa IV,sure looks big from a 14' dingy.

Good to hear that you managed to breach the parameter, I heard that it’s mined and patrolled by mechanical tiger sharks.
Maybe go back, and take a camera this time.

Ah, the return of the yachts! I've been seeing some smaller yachts out my window and look forward to the summer parade north!
I hope Kisses will be heading up.
On Saturday I saw the 110' Audra Ann in Pender Harbour but me without a camera! She's a 1992 Queenship and looked nicely kept. Her home port is Ancorage so I'm not sure if she was coming south or what.

Hey, can you see the Attessa IV (ex Evergreen) over at Washington Shipyards from your window? I've seen some photos of her near the old CFI buildings.

Maybe we should have a new tread featuring yachts designed by
"drunk designers" or just "ugly yachts" ?.

This one keeps terrorizing my neighborhood, it's a diner boat that will leave a bad taste in your mouth. I took the name off to protect the crew.

LOL, trying to hide? I do not think any vessel over 200 feet can hide! was at a commercial berth or something it looks like.
