LOL, yes it’s a mad exodus before the next rainstorm hits. The helicopters are evacuating the guests and crew; I fear the yachts will be abandoned.
I hope they sandbagged the airport, so I can make my escape !!

P.S. Rayburn needs to add some exterior color to their Yachts, she seams a bit "vanilla" like.

Well it's official....The Boating Season is Over!!.
The cold Alaskan front has moved south blending with the Hawaiian warm rainy front to create "snow".
For all you Southerners that have never experienced this phenomena:
when you stick your hand out the window, it creates a "numb and tickling" feeling.

Everything is upside down, we’re getting the snow and you guys are playing golf.
But ours will go away in a week and you’re snowed in till March.
I’m actually from Montreal, West Island (Pierrefonds), when I was a kid we used to go to the Habs games and Rock concerts at the Forum, miss the last train back to the Burbs, wonder the streets till the morning (I don't remember any age/drinking restrictions) and get caned for two weeks upon arriving back home.

You can certainly have some of ours. I live about 30 mins outside Vancouver and we got hit with 15".

Snow belongs on Christmas Cards and Mountains, neither of which you are likely to see me on. Unfortunately it's not quite working out that way at the moment

Not to worry Hawk, it will all be a distant memory this time next week.
Altogether, one cant beat the Coast, world's best yachting waters, and world's best ski resort only one hours drive from downtown.
Time to take some ski lessons and take advantage of the seasons.
If your knees are starting to go like mine from years of "mogul abuse" then snowshoeing is the new "zen" on a tranquil mountain trail.

p.s sorry for getting off topic Carl

No worries. I enjoy the occassional diversion too. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your winter exploits.

Have you ever dropped your keys in powder on a downhill run? That's about where I am right now... staring at 1000's of lines of code looking for one broken piece!

Piece of Cake....
In my case, just hire a helicopter with a GIANT magnet. In your case just get any fifteen year old kid.

outmywindow was making light of Neil Rooney's attempt to install a webcam at D bar on D marina on D island.

Check out the other thread 'Just Pullled In to Sint Martin', posts # 40 & 46 for D explanation, mon!

Well, the new Mega-yacht season is started with the arrival of: Evergreen
at 302ft they will have to have move some smaller yachts around if she's to passbymywindow anytime soon. So here is a photo courtesy of Monacoeye...

So where's Evergreen now? She's headed to Vancouver?
302 feet!? Wow.
What's the scoop on her?
