Thanks Brian, Deerleap is a beauty, everything is "period" inside.
If you want some full screen Wallpaper, it's on my webshots website.
Page 4 has the better resolution pics (new lens).

Another great bunch of photos from Vancouver.
Is Sea Fever the ex Crosser built be McQueens a few years back?
Also, the first photo in the "a couple of cats and stuff" is of Star 7 by Sabre Catamarans in Australia...
http://www.sabrecat.com.au/
They are also slated to build a 132' Incat yacht designed cat soon...

Looks that way:

"Seaward" also looks like a classic Ed Monk Sr. design, but I'm not sure on that one.

Seems to be the same yacht.
May, 2006 I shot this photo when Crosser was visiting Amsterdam.

By the way thanks for the great photos from Vancouver!

Coenharbour that's pretty close to one of my all time favorite Cities, Amsterdam. Some serious fun in that town.

Why not start a local Marina report for us?

Sorry not so much to report over here.
The only interresting yachts we can see in the Port of Amsterdam area
are most of the time newbuilds from Feadship, Hakvoort & HJB (Holland Jachtbouw).
Sometimes we see yachts that come to Holland for a refit but spotting yachts pure
visiting our lovely country that happens not so much...
I really hope that I can make some nice shots at the HISWA this week.

- Escape, notice the small car under tarp.
- Nova Spirit
- Containership

- Atlantide:

Courtesy of “Latitude38”. Anyone interested should be there with their gear and a fully charged battery…

If you love big boats and spectacles, you're going to love the news we received this morning in an email from Tom Perkins of Belvedere:

"I want to let you know that Falcon will be arriving in San Francisco in late September, and will be on the Bay most of October. I will email you with the most likely time of day for our arrival under the bridge, when our ETA is clear. Atlantide will also be there."

Trust us, no sailor is going to want to miss that event.

Falcon, of course, is the 289-ft Maltese Falcon, which by most forms of measurement is the largest sailboat in the world.

just came across this thread - nice picture coverage

Senses and Le Grand Bleu where both build by Kusch Yacht - so it seem very possible that they had the idea of building them like a small/big copy

I read that this may be correct or not.
-LGB was built by Bremer Vulkan of Germany but the designer was Kusch Design.
- Senses was built by Schweers of Germany.
- Both Vulkan and Schweers were acquired by Lurssen.
