For all you oldie fans. I believe this is a 1944 - 90 footer named
"Tiger-horse".
A very popular classic conversion around these waters with several fine examples cruising around.
If you zoom (+) the photo, you will notice a sailboat on deck. http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2423...40348811ANGcPf |

Wow, I've seen tugboats with less rubber around the hull than that!
Gotta keep that hull protected I guess

For fans of older Christensen Yachts, this 115ft "Thomas Spirit" is a fine example. http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2710...40348811SGsQQP
And for sale as well: http://www.thomasspirit.com/
Well, Well, looking at the main photo on their website. I would think that they took my photo and used it without as much as a thank-you.
Correct me if I'm wrong...

If you like the Tiger Horse (the name does'nt sound familiar to me, has it re-named?) you may like these other fine examples of our retired coastal tugs... www.ssmaster.org/ www.glendevon.org/ www.tugboatcruise.com/
This is yacht refitting tugboat style. Lots of lumber and $$$!

I have been on-board SS. Master, it's very original indeed. The Steam engine room reminds me of the nightmare known as "Das Boot".
Here is "ebitibi", now Vancouver's favorite "booze boat", on a hot summer day you can hear it coming miles away with the music blaring.
