Hello, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a place between Savannah and Miami where we could haul and block a 100ft (60 ton dry weight) yacht and do our own repairs and maintenance this Winter (Nov '14 through Feb '15). Thanks, Zeke

Playboy Marina in Dania. Indiantown Marina in Indiantown. Those 2 come to mind, but I'm not sure they can handle your size and would recommend giving them a call. I think Cracker Boy marina in Fort Pierce also allows DIY work, but not sure.

Contact St Johns marine in Jax/Mayport FL. rail and 100 ton.
75 Ton available at Huckins in Jax, 100 ton Available at Lambs marine.
I don't think Lambs will allow DIY, Huckins and St Johns will. Further up river, The facilities in Green Cove Springs are DIY also.
Huckins is usually a ghost town during your time frame. I'd call them first.
Tell them Ralph sent you. I'll be here with coffee and rum to help the pains of DIYers.

Seminole in Palm Beach Gardens and Cracker Boy in Ft. Pierce and Riviera Beach are all DIY yards.

If you truly do it yourself then yes- with regulations on paint and safety. If you want someone else to DIY for you then they must meet requirements. It's a good yard.

Plus there are very skilled contractors on site if you run into troubles.

It's an experience getting up river to get to them.
You can look forward to meeting THE Jungle Queen in a bend.
