I think the second one is a Le Clercq.

The name of the yacht is "Katherine". I was wondering if the builder was Knight & Carver?

You're right... Knight & Carver built in 1990.

That unknown trawler looks familiar.
Looks like something a builder from the valley offering...Abbotsford maybe? I'll dig around. Sharp little boat.
Outmywindow...get your camera ready for the Fastcats farewell... http://www.marinelog.com/DOCS/NEWSMM...9jul00292.html
Looks like all three sold for 50m (how much did we get hosed for them?)... http://www.ibinews.com/auto/newsdesk...153438syb.html
Now Mr. Washington has a bit more cash for his current yacht refit!! |

Ya, I question the speculated $50 million sales figure, as noted in the article, also they have been sitting and oxidizing for the last 6 years: “Washington Marine Group, North Vancouver, B.C., Canada, said the details of the transaction with Abu Dhabi MAR were confidential. It also stated that it was "bound by privacy and confidentiality contracts and policies, no further comments will be made at this time by the Washington Marine Group of Companies."
The north shore will benefit from the absence of these eyesores, beats me as to what use they could be, as they have failed in all aspects of efficiency. I’m thinking price of aluminum/steel only.
At this time I'm considering getting into selling shovels, with the upcoming "harmonized tax"

ooo...What's that yacht?...looks nice.
Those cats must be good for something other that scrap!
Someone mentioned removing two of the four engines and have them classed as slow speed ferries.
They did use them for a while here...was the reason for abandoning them a wash and wake issue or high costs to run?

- First time I've seen that boat myself.
- Based on this article, the Cats were useless at pretty much everything. http://www.geocities.com/ferries_bc/pacificats.html |

Hey, haven't seen the Alyeska for a while. It was built in Port Alberi a few years back to a Greg Marshall design.
It's interesting as it has a steel hull that was sandblasted and coated with a zinc/aluminum for rust prevention.
The sailboat kind of looks like a Dixon design.

Beautiful boat.

Interesting, I though Alyeska was a Nordhavn.
