Mochi Craft Yachts
Ferretti Group’s series of lobster boats/express cruisers are the Mochi Dolphins. First introduced as the initial 51-foot Mochi Dolphin design, in 2003, the Mochi Dolphins are the brainchild of Norberto Ferretti and Ferretti Group’s designer, Brunello Acampura, with naval architect Andrea Frabetti. An old-style revolution; Mochi Craft reinterprets the old lobster boat style with modernized, super-sized versions of the traditional down-Easter. The rounded shapes of the Mochi rediscover the natural lines of the Fifties with a playful and modern touch. Mochi Craft has renewed the splendors of the past, reinterpreting them with Italian sensitivity and the technological innovation and reliability of the Ferretti Group’s Engineering Division.
Ferretti Group acquired the historic Italian brand Mochi Craft in November 2001. In April 2003 Mochi Craft’s return was officially announced during a press conference, with the transformation of production into a niche lobster boat, and the introduction of plans for the first Mochi Craft boat: the 51’Dolphin. Currently, four sizes are offered ranging from the 44’ Dolphin, the 51' Dolphin, the 64' Dolphin and the 74’ Dolphin.
